UEIL Technical Committee (TC) Newsletter March 2018

During the TC meeting in September 2017, the Chairman Tim Bates announced that he would be retiring. During that meeting, a member agreed to take over Tim’s position as Chairman from January 2018. In December, the transition took place with the handing over of the necessary files. I would like, in the name of the TC members, to thank Tim for all the excellent work he carried out in recent years for UEIL and especially in the TC group. In January 2018, we held our first meeting of the year in Brussels under the new Chairman, during which it was decided to change the way we work. Every member is now responsible for a file, in order to involve them even more in the different cases we follow. The new Chairman of the TC group is Ad van Genderen, who works for a Dutch independent blender in The Netherlands.
