Dear Members

2017 is coming to an end. It has been a very intensive year for the Association. We have changed our Secretariat, issued the new upgraded UEIL Industry Statistics and launched our new webpage. Looking ahead, there is still a lot of work to do, and we are looking forward to it! To mention a few of the initiatives in the pipeline, we are going to upgrade our Congress to make it even more valuable for our members and the industry at large; we are going to increase our presence in social media; and we are going to step up our efforts to create a fair competition in the lubricants market.

These are just a few examples of what we are planning to do next year. If you have ideas on what UEIL should do, or you would like to become more engaged in the Association, you are most welcome to contact me or the Secretariat.

We are striving to make the UEIL a vital, engaging and valuable Association and your contribution to this process will be precious!

I would like to take the opportunity to wish a happy holiday season and a prosperous new year to you all and your families.
