2022 ALIA Annual Meeting

The ALIA 2022 Annual Meeting will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, on April 25-27, 2022. After a temporary pause in December 2021, Thailand has resumed quarantine-free travel for vaccinated visitors from February 1, 2022. International travellers from all countries can apply for visas online and free of charge under Thailand’s Test and Go Program.

The theme of F+L Week 2022 is “Disruption and Transformation in the Fuels & Lubes Industry.” The technical program begins on April 28 with six keynote presentations, starting with a presentation from Thomas Wood of Credit Suisse on “Supertrends: Investing for Purpose.” His talk will cover six supertrends and will include a discussion on what companies will need to continue to get investors and how to evaluate the risks for their shareholders and stakeholders. Day 2 will cover a variety of technical and commercial topics including a presentation from the International Fluids Consortium (IFC), an OEM-led group  which is trying to transform how global vehicle fluid specifications are being defined today to meet society’s carbon neutrality goals by 2035 and 2050.
