Message from the President – September 2022

Dear readers,

We would like to welcome you to the 2022 UEIL Congress!

The 2022 UEIL Annual Congress will take place from 19 October to 21 October in the beautiful city of Athens, Greece. We hope you will benefit from this unique networking platform and join the many people around the world that have already registered.

On 19 October, you will have the opportunity to attend a course on lubricant marketing, focused on getting early engagement and effectively nurturing customer relationships.

The pre-conference seminar this year will be hosted by Kline and will be about value creation opportunities for the lubricant industry. In a continuously developing and challenging business landscape, I believe it will be extremely valuable to attend this seminar.

The Congress will be on the theme “Driving innovation – The lubricant industry on the move”. We will explore the topic of innovation at different stages of the value chain, from product development to production technology, from supply chain to sales and marketing. Leading industry representatives will help us understand the regulatory environment and the available tools and platform, and several European lubricant manufacturers will share success stories and case studies.

The European lubricant industry has a unique opportunity to become an accelerator and enabler of change and innovation, and we hope that the Congress will provide inspiration on the right strategic decisions needed to materialise this opportunity.
