The UEIL Annual Congress 2009 - "The Lubricant industry vision for a new economic world"

That we live in uncertain times is obvious to all.
By the time we reach October 2009 there will be entirely new economic circumstances – for better or worse.
We may have emerged relatively unscathed into an economic landscape that is familiar or we may be operating in a new economic framework so fundamentally different that everyone, irrespective of sector, will be forced to adjust their business model to this new economic world.
For those reasons UEIL is taking a step closer to that new economic framework in the naming of its 2009 Congress – “The Lubricant industry vision for a new economic world” that will take place from October 22nd – 24th in Istanbul.
Speakers will cover a variety of topics including developments in the automotive sector, the Regulatory environment, global economics and future technology.
Participants from all over Europe and beyond will be attracted to the relevance of the topics, to the destination which is Istanbul, to network with industry colleagues and to explore the opportunities in the economically vibrant Turkish market.
UEIL looks forward to welcoming new and previous attendees to one of the most important industry events of 2009.

GEIR Congress
GEIR, the European Re-refinery section of UEIL, is glad to announce the 4th European Re-refinery Congress.
The GEIR Congress "The re-refining industry: 40 years at the service of Europe's environment" will take place in Brussels, 17th November.

The UEIL Annual Congress 2008 - "Lubricant raw materials - Technology and Supply"
The 2008 Annual Congress of the Independent Union of the European Lubricants Industry (UEIL) was held on 23-24 October 2008 in Warsaw, Poland.
This year's event "Lubricant Raw Materials – Technology and Supply" came right at the time of key developments in the lubricants industry, including the start of the REACH pre-registration process.
More than 150 representatives from 20 different countries gathered together to network and generate new business opportunities as well as reinforcing existing relationships and learning about improving performance.
UEIL thanks all delegates, speakers and sponsors for the fabulous conference and wishes to cooperate with them all in other future successful events.
