With Members in over ten European Member States and a unique collective experience of Lubricants and the Lubricants Market, UEIL is the strongest Representative Body for Independent producers of lubricants in Europe.
UEIL is an active member of ATIEL; the technical association of the European lubricants industry, giving its members a platform for discussion and participation together with the Major European oil companies.

Change of Secretariat
The Board of Directors has decided to bring all its operations and activities under one single roof and had appoointed Interel to act as the only Secretariat of UEIL. Interel will be responsible for the management and finances of the association, support to the Board and Committees, communications and Congress management, and EU public affairs. This decision aims to bring more efficiency and coordination to our activities.

New Secretary General
The Board of Directors has also appointed a new Secretary General, Milagros Mostaza-Corral, who will replace Axel Rindborg. Axel is moving into other professional responsibilities and we take this opportunity to thank him for his support in the last year.
Milagros will be supported by Feriel Saouli and the existing Public Affairs team.
