Technical Committee

Since the last Newsletter the Technical and Competition Committees have jointly released 5 OEM Bulletins which concern:

• ARGO Tractors
• GM Dexos
• Jaguar Land Rover
• PSA Peugeot Citroen
• Renault Trucks

Currently the Technical Committee has 9 cases that have been raised by the membership and are being investigated.

A successful meeting has been held with one of the 4 main Additive Suppliers with the aim of introducing UEIL and explaining its position within the industry.

The ATIEL European Engine Lubricants Quality Management System (EELQMS) Special Task Force has ordered its 1st set of test data which should be available in early December for work to commence

The Technical Committee meetings in 2012 are scheduled to be held in Brussels, on 25 January, 9 May and 19 September

The next ATIEL Technical Council meeting, which will be held in Brussels, has been re-scheduled from the 10th to the 9th of May 2012, which unfortunately clashes with a UEIL Technical Committee meeting; therefore UEIL will not be represented at the meeting
